Laura's Bat Card
Last year my friend Laura sent me this adorable bat card. She was kind enough to share with me the project details. I wanted to repost the project so you would have plenty of time to make your own and send by halloween.
Materials:
Card base. Purple, black, or dark grey works well
Holographic and silver embossing powder
Versamark embossing ink
Bat diecut from blackcardstock I used one precut from Martha Stewart, but it would be easy to cut one yourself or use your own die.
2 tiny gems for the bats eyes
Large swirl stamp for background, any kind of spiral, flourish, or even stars would work.
Circle diecut from gray cardstock I used 2.5 inch or smaller 1.5"
To Make:
Stamp the background flourish design on the card with Versamark, sprinkle on the holographic powder, and heat to emboss.
For the moon, cover the whole surface of the circle diecut with Versamark by pressing onto the stamp pad. Lay flat and apply silver embossing powder. Using a stiff brush and pounce the powder to break up , you dont want an even coating. This gives the moon some texture. Heat to emboss.

Apply the gem eyes to the bat.
Attach moon to card with tape.
Attach bat with dimensional foam dots.
Stamp sentiment inside if desired....DONE!

Crow Silhouette Printable
I decided to make a crow silhouette to go along with the witch silhouette. I have them displayed along with my Designer Decoupage Pumpkins, and a vintage bat graphic from the Graphics Fairy. To print your own crow just select the download below. Make sure you choose "actual size" when you print the PDF or it will print the image 8.5 x 11. Trim and put into a 5" x 7" frame for a simple Halloween decoration. I used black frames from the dollar store.
Download the crow here: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?miigy5iwu3b2q53
Select print "actual size" or 100% so the print is 5" x 7" and not 8.5" x 11".
Put into a 5 " x 7" frame.
Enjoy,

Witch Silhouette Printable
I wanted to make a witch silhouette to use in a 5x7 frame. I found a silhouette and added some fun backgrounds to it. Print out whichever background you like. Just make sure to choose "actual size" when printing a PDF or it will stretch the image to fit the entire piece of paper and be blurry. Pop into a dollar store frame and you have a quick Halloween decoration.
Go to Mediafire to download the PDF:
Damask Witch: http://www.mediafire.com/file/lm4vyb0viwy0ue0/witch2.pdf
Polka Dot Witch: http://www.mediafire.com/file/xa25fvxajij99ia/witch4.pdf
Newsprint Witch: http://www.mediafire.com/file/2uan3txlq1at1s3/witch.pdf
Print "actual size" or 100% to make sure it reduces the image to 5x7 and not 8.5 x 11.
Trim and put in a 5x7 frame.
Enjoy,

Burlap Web Finds
I'm not sure why, but burlap just feels right for fall decorating. It must be the texture that reminds me of hay rides and bonfires. From pillows to place mats, its easy to add a little burlap to your home. Here are some fun ideas.
Enjoy!
