Today's a good day for folks that love Android updates, as it looks like there are three devices that are either currently receiving some new software or will be in the coming days. The first product that's being updated is theHTC One X+ on AT&T. PhoneDog reader Russell Hanson was notified of the One X+'s update last weekend, butAT&T and HTC only recently got around to putting up some information about it.
The One X+ update weighs in at 50MB and brings the phone up to software version 1.19.502.1. Packed inside of it are Isis improvements and fixes for AT&T Address Book, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and some other minor issues. The One X+'s update can be grabbed by going into Settings > AT&T Software Update > Check for Updates.
Jumping over to Verizon, the big red carrier has revealed that its Motorola DROID RAZR M is due for a maintenance update of its own. Verizon hasn't yet announced when the update will begin rolling out, but RAZR M owners can always check for it by heading into Settings > About phone > System updates.
The 80MB update will bump the RAZR M up to software version 98.15.66.XT907.Verizon.en.US and bring with it a handful of enhancements, including improved Wi-Fi connectivity and better touch-to-focus and low-light performance with the device's camera. Here's the full changelog for the update:
Device Features, Improvements & Fixes
- Improved Wi-Fi connectivity
- Voice volume has been improved at set level
- Camera improvements in touch-to-focus, notifications and low light performance
- In-call audio is routed to ear piece while connected to headset has been improved

Rounding out the trio of devices with new updates is the Sony Xperia Tablet S. The slate's update is a bit more significant than just a maintenance release, as it'll bump the Xperia Tablet S from Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.
The full changelog for the update isn't yet available, but the good news is that Xperia Tablet S owners won't have to wait long to find out what's inside of it. That's because Sony says that the update will begin rolling out tomorrow, April 18, between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. PT. Xperia Tablet S units in the U.S., Canada and Latin America will be the lucky ones receiving the update, so if you live in one of those regions, be sure to keep an eye on your slate's notifications tomorrow morning.
