Its been a month since the Nokia Lumia 720 was first showcased at the MWC 2013 along with the Lumia 520 and the Lumia 620, both of which are available for purchase in the Indian market. Today, the company announced that the Lumia 720 which was launched on 20th March, 2013 and will go on sale from 13th April onwards at price of Rs. 18,500. The device has been listed on the company’s Indian website in the mid-range smartphone category.
For those who are unaware, the chief specs of the Lumia 720 include a 4.3-inch WVGA IPS super sensitive display with 480x800 pixels resolution. The device has the Windows 8 operating system. It is powered by a 1GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, Adreno 305 GPU with 512MB RAM and 8GB ROM. The memory is expandable up to 64 GB via micro SD card. The Lumia 720 has a 6.7MP rear camera with autofocus, digital zoom and LED flash and a 1.3MP front camera. For connectivity the device supports 4G LTE, 3G, NFC, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, and other options. It runs on a 2000mAh battery that gives talk time up to 13 to 23 hours. The device will also be available in multiple color options such as Red, Yellow, Cyan besides the conventional Black and White.
Flipkart is offering interested buyers a 16GB memory card on pre-order of the device. Users can also check out e-retailers such as Snapdeal and Saholic for a good offer on this device.
