Well, it’s now looking like Samsung has exactly said big time in mind next time around, as rumor has it that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will feature a stunning new-generation full HD Super AMOLED display. And while it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen a high-end tablet PC arrive with a 1080p panel, word on the street is that Samsung will be looking to serve up a Galaxy Tab 3 with a touchscreen of up to 11-inches.
Samsung’s Super AMOLED displaytechnology has for some time been the envy of the industry, with dozens of rival panels being compared side-by-side to what fast become the yardstick of the mobile tech market. However, Samsung has at least in the tablet PC market fallen almost off the radar, as the likes of the iPad, the Google Nexus Tablet range and others like the Microsoft SurfaceTablets have dominated the headlines.
Well, things could be about to change in a very big way this year as when the SamsungGalaxy Tab 3 release date rolls around, we could be looking at show-stopping specs and features that quite simply bury its rivals. Along with the aforementioned HD Super AMOLED of epic proportions, the Galaxy Tab 3 is guaranteed to boast Samsung’s Exynos 5 octa-core processor, along with up to 3GB of RAM, 128GB or storage space and more bells and whistles than you can shake several sticks at.
Price and release date details are of course unknown, but there’s a good chance that the SamsungGalaxy Tab 3 will launch alongside the Galaxy Note 3 this fall at the 2013 IFA in Germany.
